About ecoro
Autonomous freightfor industrial sitesand beyond.
We exist to close the gap between your buildings. Not the gap in your indoor automation: that problem is solved. The gap outside. Between Building A and Building B. The last manual meters of industrial logistics.

Mission & vision
When freight movesin the background, space returnsto people.
Inside the buildings, freight already moves silently and precisely. Outside, it’s still fleets of trucks and forklifts, taking up space, burning energy, putting people at risk.
ecoro changes that, starting with one thing: outdoor pallet transport between buildings, with terminals, shuttles and lane orchestrated by one operating system, the ecoro Control Center. From there, the same system scales to campuses, industrial parks, and eventually dedicated freight corridors that return surface space to people. Permanently.
“The only system built specifically for automated source-to-sink pallet transport on private industrial premises.”

The problem
The most expensivemeters in logistics
Labor disappearing. Costs exploding. Automation incomplete.

- The observation01
CEO Daniel Daum saw it for fifteen years: on every multi-building site, precision automation inside every building, and forklifts in every yard. The reason nobody had solved it: the space between buildings sat between two industries. Too outdoor for warehouse automation. Too closed-off for open-road autonomy. So nobody owned it. ecoro brought together the people to change that: transport infrastructure, hardware and software engineering, logistics operations. One team, built around one problem.
- The gap02
ecoro was founded to own that space. A dedicated pallet transport system for outdoor operations, built on the one constraint that makes it deployable today: a closed lane on private premises, under EC Machinery Directive, not public-road AV regulation.
- The constraint03
The constraint is the design principle. It is why deployment takes months instead of years, and why a shuttle costs below €30,000 instead of €240,000. It stays radically simpler than any intelligent vehicle built to survive the open road.
Timeline
From structural problemto active deployment.
No milestone before its riskiest assumption was tested. Outdoor autonomy came first: the system followed.
Founded in the heart of Würzburg, Germany.
First testing with Gen-1 shuttle and Terminal prototype. Problem validated. First LOIs signed.
Gen-2 shuttle engineered and built. Company funded to grow. Headquarter moved to Munich.
Gen 2 validation complete. Engineering team scaling. First deployments.
Gen 3 commercial system. 6-person engineering team. Garching HQ.
ecoro contributes to six UNSustainable Development Goals.
With zero-emission logistics innovation, ecoro removes forklifts from outdoor environments, eliminates diesel emissions on that route, and returns space to people. Because we believe that automation should not compete with people for space, safety, or quality of life.
Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good health and well-being
Creating safer work environments by removing forklifts from high-traffic zones.
Sustainable Development Goal 6: Clean water and sanitation
Supporting clean production by reducing contamination risk from traditional freight equipment.
Sustainable Development Goal 9: Industry, innovation and infrastructure
Modernizing factory logistics with scalable cross-building transport automation.
Sustainable Development Goal 12: Responsible consumption and production
Maximizing supply chain efficiency with predictable, steady-state autonomous flow.
Sustainable Development Goal 13: Climate action
Eliminating diesel emissions in the “gap between buildings” and optimizing energy use through centralized scheduling.
Sustainable Development Goal 15: Life on land
Reducing industrial footprint and freeing up space for green areas around facilities.
